To enhance and support existing recreational services in Avon Park by implementing community-driven improvements that promote health, connection, and quality of life without creating undue financial hardships or burdens on residents and local governments.

· Respect and align with the local government’s operational capabilities to ensure long-term feasibility.

 

2. Promote Wellness, Connection, and Livability

 

· Expand access to trails, parks, and open spaces that support physical activity, safety, and social engagement.

 

· Foster inclusive, welcoming environments that serve people of all ages and abilities.

 

· Improve neighborhood and park aesthetics and safety through enhancements such as lighting, landscaping, and signage.

 

3. Plan Responsibly and Fund Sustainably

 

· Pursue grant funding, community partnerships, and volunteer support to implement improvements without relying on tax increases or special benefit districts.
